Many animals have visited Mobile Bay over the years but there is quite a buzz for our four new friends that are here now. Four African black-footed penguins now reside at the Gulf Coast Exploreum Science Center and will remain until January 2015.
The exhibit, entitled Penguin Planet, features a cool viewing tank created to replicate a penguin’s natural habitat. Penguin Planet will include hourly talks from special trainers educating you on all things penguins as well as interactive activities and much more. Kids and adults will love it and you’ll definitely walk away a penguin expert.
